Damian Richter was born on May 5, 2002, and grew up in Deerfield Beach, Florida.

He was diagnosed with high-functioning autism at the age of 2 and was told that he may never be able to speak, have pretend play, or any imagination. Through lots of therapies, he managed to learn to speak and make great progress over the years. He recently graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a BA degree in theatre and a minor in acting for the camera.

Damian discovered his passion for doing theatre when he joined his high school drama club. He realized being an actor on stage helped him feel like his autism disappeared. In the real world with his autism, he has to work at understanding people when they don't say what they mean responding the correct way and figuring out people's feelings. But on stage when he has a script and knows what he has to say and how he's supposed to feel and what the other characters are going to say back and how they feel he can then become the character and his autism seems to disappear.

He has been working to develop his craft of acting since high school where he was in several musicals. He then attended Palm Beach State College and was in the theatre program taking classes and performed in several plays. He then transferred to FAU to major in theatre and also achieved a minor in acting. He was in several performances at FAU including films, plays, and dance shows. He has also taken an acting, dancing, and singing classes outside of college. Damian has also performed at the Lake Worth Playhouse and with community theatre groups.

Damian loves to surf. He started at 5 years old with the nonprofit Surfers for Autism and later became a competitive longboard surfer. He also has a second-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do karate. He started doing karate when he was 7 years old.

Damian has always had to work harder to achieve his goals because of his autism. His perseverance, dedication and hard-working ethics helps him to achieve those goals. He does not let his Autism stop him from doing anything.
